Market Program Manager Treatment (m/w/d)


The position is responsible for driving collaboration and alignment between key functions of the Xylem global treatment business. Specifically, the Market Program Manager will serve as a key liaison between the client-facing sales teams in our various countries/regions (Commercial Teams) and the global support functions associated with Product Management, Operations, Tender Support, and Project Execution (Growth Centre Teams).

A key aspect of the role will involve driving the identification, tracking and solution development of areas for improving coordination and communication, removing bottlenecks, and expediting requests for support between these various teams. In addition, the role will support Vice President – Treatment (Global Treatment lead) with special assignments related to growth initiatives in the Emerging Markets.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Collect, track and monitor commercial team requirements and issues lists and provide leaders with insights and recommendations on actions required to drive Treatment’s growth
  • Coordinate and prioritize activities with Commercial teams and Growth Centre resources to ensure premium service to the customer and timely execution of activities Work close with Commercial teams to assess Treatment appetite and capacity to execute activities as a diversification of the revenue in the commercial team
  • Support the Treatment Leadership team with the execution of the Strategy for the Emerging Markets to grow the market share
  • Adopt a proactive attitude with Commercial teams with a strong sense of accountability and ownership of actions.
  • Support monthly, quarterly and annual Treatment Forecasting process for revenue & order intake
  • Continuously share best practices with Commercial teams to secure and to increase Treatment awareness in the regions
  • Identify best channels to market according to capacity to cover the market and best ability to serve the customers across the regions
  • Use appropriate tools to maintain clear and accurate records of activities within defined area and prepare and present regular reports as required
  • Attend and contribute to appropriate networking opportunities in and outside of the company
  • Participation to internal/external sales events, congresses and exhibitions.
  • Support the Company in maintaining the highest possible standards of Health and Safety at Work, this in accordance with current legislation and policies laid down by the Company.



Sales driven, strong business acumen, open-minded, extroverted, international scope, intercultural sense, analytical & strategical thinking, solution oriented approach on a management level, ability to build strong relationships and trust, ability to solve conflicts, ability and drive to communicate effectively in order to impact and convince people which includes ability to  listen and understand



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science/Business/Marketing as a minimum or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated strong data analytical skills with extensive knowledge in analytical tools
  • Ability and willingness for international travel at reasonable extend (up to 20%)
  • Actively lead internal projects to develop the efficiency of the entire organization (CI)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel, along with other databases such as Customer Relationship Management systems
  • Excellent oral and written English and fluent German communications skills
